The Florida Panthers have acquired forward Brandon Pirri from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a third round pick in 2014 and a fifth round pick in 2016. Pirri was selected 59th overall in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Blackhawks. The 22-year-old had six goals and five assists in 28 games this season in Chicago.
