SAN FRANCISCO - Giants centre fielder Angel Pagan is scheduled to be examined by a specialist in Los Angeles after having a setback in his recovery from a back injury. Pagan was eligible to come off the disabled list before the Giants opened a three-game series against St. Louis on Tuesday night. He says he was running Monday when a "minor setback" occurred. He will see a specialist Wednesday in Los Angeles. Pagan says he has a bulging disc in his back that is pinching a nerve and causing pain in his legs.
